Who we are

Equibinder is a horse-management platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

When you create an account, submit our contact form, or use the product, we collect:

  • Account details — your name, email, and (hashed) password.
  • Horse records you provide — anything you choose to add to your barn.
  • Limited technical signals — an IP address and a browser fingerprint, captured only after you check the consent box at sign-up or on the contact form. We use these for fraud prevention and broad usage analytics. We do not sell them.
  • Product usage — pages visited, features used, and timing, for signed-in accounts. Used internally to understand which parts of the product are working.

How we use it

  • To provide the service you signed up for.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To prevent abuse (e.g. blocking obviously-fraudulent sign-ups).
  • To respond when you contact us (only if you submit the contact form or email us).

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers we depend on (database, file storage, OCR), and only what they need to run those services on our behalf.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to remember your privacy consent so we don’t ask again. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

  • You can export everything we hold on your horses from Settings → Export.
  • You can delete your account at any time. Email us and we will erase the data tied to it.
